The drinks industry is under pressure to reduce its carbon footprint, currently measured in tens of millions of metric tonnes of CO2.

That means rethinking packaging, transport and energy and even agriculture. Despite the heroic efforts of some elements of the drinks industry in the past decades, the emissions are still a major contributor to the industrial climate transformation of the packaged goods sector.
